iXOX: Tic Tac Toe Multiplayer

Tic Tac Toe! A new challenger...

Here comes iXOX! Here is my take on the classic Tic Tac Toe game, played since ancient times, in Rome and many other places. The objective of the game is to get three signs in a row, whether playing as "X" or as "O". In iXOX, the first player to score two wins, wins the match. The rules are simple and the game is elegant. It is a type of game that is easy to learn, but hard to master. There are twelve "skins" to unlock for the player and also special visual and sound effects for further customizing the whay you play as either "X" or "O".

Skins and special effects are unlocked by winning online games ("hotseat" games don't count). When winning online games, your level will go up and after every win your score is sent to the iXOX leaderboard. The leaderboard is accessible by clicking the blue "question mark" button from the main menu, then clicking the blue "people" button in the lower right.

Unlock them all and show your friends who is the iXOX master!

iXOX can be played in two modes:

• Hotseat, which is playing on one device. After one player finishes the turn, it's the other player's turn
• Online, by connecting to other players via the provided ID

The game is cross-platform. Connect to another player in the following way:

• If you want to host the match, and play as "X", copy the provided ID and send it your friend via a message.
  • When playing on an Android device, you can copy the ID simply by touching the ID address
• If you are connecting to a friend, you play as "O", simply paste the ID your friend has sent you in the text input field and connect.
  • On a Android device:  touch and shortly hold (paste) the ID in the text input filed provided

You can play the browser version here. The Android version is in review right now and it will be available soon on Google’s Play store. The game is casual and strategic, and has all the features that define this type of game, plus it has some nice visual and sound effects.
